Bangkok's traffic situation is renowned all over the world. It is easy to get stuck in the polluted traffic. There are ways to ease the problem though.
Bangkok has one of the worlds most modern subway, the Mass Rapid Transit Network, MRT. The MRT has 2 lines, the Silom line and the Sukhumvit line. The MRT is connected at three different points (Asok, Sala Daeng, Mo Chit) with the BTS Sky Train, Bangkok Mass Transit System. Both of them makes traveling around in Bangkok much easier and comfortable.
They are everywhere and they are affordable and most often the vehicles are up-to-date
A three wheeled vehicle turned "tourist attraction". Don´t forget to bargain.
The most inexpensive way of travel in the city. Be aware they are hot and cramped.
Travel on and over the canals on small ferry boats.
